Cold Reheater Long Seam Field Defect Findings
Defect Removal
Indication was found on a long seam weld on a cold reheat link. Removed specimen, analyzed, replaced and issued a final report.
Laboratory Analysis
Plug as received from the plant. CES Laboratory analyzed and engineered a plan along with material for full replacement. A report was issued to assure the plant of full load operation within three days.
